- Q) Does Fitzleroi Function barn have a civil ceremony license?
- A) No, at this time we are not licensed for civil partnerships, however, there are many Catholic Churches, C of E Churches, and registry offices in the area. there is also the humanist option
- Q) Do you have set caterers?
- A) We have a long list of recommended caterers which we do ask you to use if posible. However if you have a company you really wish to use we are very flexible and will consider any request.
- Q) Do you charge corkage?
- A) No, we are strongly opposed to corkage and therefore we do not charge any corkage and caterers are not allowed to charge corkage either.
- Q) How do we run our bar?
- A)There are two ways, firstly buy all your own alcohol and give it away. Secondly, use OC Bars to run a licensed “pay bar” or a mixture of both. We are limited to a maximum of 12 "pay bars" per room each year. Once our 12 per room have been allocated for the year then only free bars can be accomodated. 12 "pay bars" can be held in the barn and a further 12 in the room adjoining.
- Q) What time does the venue have to be vacated by and when does music have to finish?
- A) Music must finish by 23:45 and the barn vacated by midnight
- Q) You say the barn can accomodate 180 guests but you can only supply 120 chairs?
- A) The venue can easily seat 180 guests, however in order to have room for your dance floor, band, bar and reception drinks, a marquee will need to be attached and extra chairs hired
- Q) When will I have access to the barn to setup?
- A) The barn will be ready and available to you from 10am the day before. We ask you to setup between the hours of 10am and 7pm.
- Q) Do you have any accomodation?
- A) Yes, we have a recently renovated cottage. The cottage sleeps five and is located 150 yards from the venue. There are also many hotels and B&B's in the local area. Full details are here
